There are different theories on if you should clean your grill or not but if you're on the side that likes to keep your grill clean then Danny Lipford will show you exactly how it should be done. These grills can get pretty dirty .

Items Needed:

Large Bucket/Container,

Warm Water,

Liquid Dishwashing Soap (designed for cutting grease),

Grill Brush and Scouring Pads,

Spatula.

Before you start cleaning the gas grills, make sure the total connection of the propane gas tank or natural gas in the off position.

After that, turn all the controls (knobs) in the off position. Completely take away the gas tank from the place, if possible. If you completely remove the natural gas or propane gas tank, it will provide whole safety.

Take some warm water in a bucket or container.

Now mix the liquid dishwashing soap in the warm water.

Take care while removing the grill racks from the gas grills. Put them in the bucket containing soapy water.

For about 30 minutes, let the grill sit in the water. Extend the time period, if the grease build up has not melted away.

Clean the burners when the grills are getting cleaned. They are major culprit behind dirty grills. Take a soft cloth and soak it in soapy water. Making use of this, remove the debris or built- up grease.

Using the sturdy spatula, rub the inside walls clean.

Now, it is the time to remove the remaining particles inside the grill. For this, use a wet-dry or hand-held vacuum.

Rinse off the excess soap from the grill after the soaking process.

If still any baked-on grease remains, you can use a grill-cleaning brush to remove the residue left.

Ensure that you wet all surfaces of the cooking grid.
